Brain+ Prototypes

What I did

Unity was new to me but having used Unreal Engine for 9 weeks for a project, I quickly learned how to get around, and what I didn’t know I would research.

Github became another acquaintance and with a few parallels to be drawn to mercurial it was a problem free switch.

C# has been an interesting language to learn, it’s been close to C++ which I knew from my education, but still different. I’ve enjoyed working in this language and it was a smooth transition.

What I'm the most proud of

QA was my element, when new updates came out and I got to test the games I became hyper focused and really got in a great workflow. I documented the findings on Hack’n’Plan and contacted relevant colleagues if necessary.

While almost all graphical assets were made by Alessio Carini or imported from the Unity store, I did make the particle effects which I'm very satisfied about how they turned out.

Biggest challenge
Being on my own, while it was a big challenge it showed me that I am capable of completing tasks and overcoming obstacles. It confirmed my abilities and gave me the confidence to keep going.

Disclaimer!

This is a prototype I made for Brain+ while interning and later working there. This is not representative of the finished product.

I don’t own the songs. They aren’t part of the actual prototype, they have been used for this video only as background music.
